Biography
Daniella Jarikre-Ikazoboh is a seasoned banking professional with over two decades of experience in Nigeria’s financial services industry. She serves as Assistant General Manager and Regional Head of the Lagos Regional Office, where she leads initiatives to expand access to export financing, strengthen non-oil export value chains, and deepen stakeholder engagement across Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo States.
Her career reflects progressive experience across Ecobank Nigeria, Stanbic IBTC Bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA), and Unity Bank Plc. At Ecobank, she spearheaded initiatives that expanded the Bank’s share of retail electronic collections, significantly improving its eChannel industry ranking, while also contributing to industry-wide digital banking standards through her role with the Committee of e-Business Heads (CeBIH).
At Stanbic IBTC Bank, she advanced the International Personal Banking business, covering Diaspora, Expatriate, Offshore, and International Money Remittances. She strengthened the Bank’s position in the remittance market by enhancing money transfer operations and driving customer acquisition. She also played a pivotal role in forging a partnership with IE Business School Madrid to expand access to entrepreneurial education financing. At UBA, she pioneered retail digital adoption initiatives that accelerated customer engagement and growth.
Beyond her core banking responsibilities, Daniella is passionate about learning and people development, having mentored young professionals and serves as faculty for training programs. She also represents NEXIM Bank on the Board of the West African Bankers’ Association (WABA) and Nexportrade Houses Ltd (NHL).
Her expertise spans Credit Risk Management, Structured Finance, Portfolio Governance, Relationship Management, and Strategy Execution. She has also completed several leadership courses locally and internationally, further strengthening her ability to drive organizational growth and transformation.
She holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Jos and a Global Executive MBA from IE Business School, Madrid and is an Honorary Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIB). She has participated in numerous professional and executive development programmes both locally and internationally.
