With over 2 decades of diverse experience in the banking and financial services industry, Solomon has developed expertise spanning treasury and banking operations, business development, audit, risk management, and export finance. His career is defined by a strong commitment to excellence, innovative problem-solving, and driving financial solutions that enhance economic growth and stability.

Currently, he is the Head of Credit Insurance and Guarantee at the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM). In this role, he leads the bank's export risk-bearing and mitigation mandate, developing and implementing solutions that protect exporters and enhance Nigeria’s global trade competitiveness.

Prior to joining NEXIM Bank, his career progressed through key roles at United Bank for Africa Plc, Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation, Continental Trust Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank.

Solomon holds a first degree in Economics & Statistics from the University of Benin and a Masters in Banking and Finance from Ahmadu Bello University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) from the Association of Certified Anti-money Laundering Specialists, USA. He has been exposed to numerous training programs locally and internationally, broadening his skills and knowledge in banking, finance, insurance, risk management, and strategic leadership. His hobbies are reading and travelling.
